Marketing Strategies

The goal of this project is to utilize new technologies from outside industries and implement them into retail initiatives.

This project includes in depth research on Saks Fifth Avenue, a competitive analysis, target demographic research, trend analysis, and three separate initiatives all connected through the SAKS mobile app.

Initiatives include the revamping of the Saks catalog, incorporating augmented reality  through the mobile app, utilizing GPS tracking technology to help customers locate departments during the in-store experience, implementing tracking chips to luxury items for after purchase tracking services, and incorporating a collaboration with Pandora to create in-store playlists that correspond to the department the client is in.
